How to pin a story on the top of facebook pages

Few days back, Facebook has launched timeline profile for brand pages. This is similar to the timeline profile with some additional features for the brands. In this new timeline profile, admin can pin a post at the top of the page for at most 7 days. So admin can pin an important story or trending story of the week at the top of the page.


To pin a story on the top of the page, follow these steps:

• Go to your Facebook page.
• Now take the mouse on the post which you want to pin at the top of the page. If you have not already posted the update, then update the post and take mouse over it.
• As the mouse will go on the post, you will see 2 icons (Start, pencil) on the top-left corner of the post.
• Click on the pencil icon and then click on "Pin to Top"
  
• Now the page will reload automatically and you will see the post at the top of the page. with a ribbon at the top right corner which shows that the post is pinned.
  
  
• This post will be at the top of the page for 7 days.

Unpin a post: If you want to remove a post from the top of the page(unpin), you can do this with same way. See the steps:

• Take the mouse over the post.
• Now you will see a pencil icon on the tip right corner of the page.
• Click on it and select "Unpin from Top"
• The post will now be removed from the top of the page and will appear at its original position on the timeline.
