Facebook is the most popular social networking website. Best part of this website is its notification feature which keeps use updated with latest updates. We are always interested in notification related to us or our friends. But we do not care for the notifications of groups. Anyone can add us on groups and then we have to face annoying notifications from those groups.
Facebook has also given an option to turn off the notification from the groups. But most of the times we are too lazy to go on the group page and turn off the notifications. To make this easy, Facebook has now updated an easy way to control these notifications direct from the notification bar.
Follow these steps:
- Click on notification button and then take mouse over to the annoying notification.
- You will see a x at the top right corner of the notification. Click on it.
- Now it will ask to turn off notification from that group.
- Click on Turn Off button.
After this, you will never receive notification from that group. This is really an easy way to turn off the notifications.
To turn on notification again, you will have to go to the group page. To turn on notifications follow these steps:
- Go to the group page.
- Click on Notifications.
- Click on On.
