Firefox is a nice browser which provides various cool features and tools to use direct from browser. Firefox has also various options to protect your web brwsing from malicious websites and other forms of attacks. You can also encrypt your web browsing to protect yourself from Man in the middle attack. There are many websites running over HTTPS to protect user data but still most of the websites are using simple HTTP. So this is a nice practice to protect your data yourself.

There is a nice FireFox addon HTTPS Everywhere which encrypt your web browsing by changing all your web surfing to HTTPS protocol even if the website is running on HTTP.



Install HTTPS Everywhere in Firefox
This add-on is not available in the FireFox add on gallery. You need to install it from the developers website.  Just go to the HTTPS Everywhere page and click the big Install HTTPS Everywhere button.
After the installation, this add-on will add a button to your firefox tool bar. You can see the status and change the settings of HTTPS Everywhere directly from the button.


This is a must have add-on if you use a public wi-fi. This add on protects all your data from eavesdropping. .
