Browser cache is the space where it stores some files of the website. When you load a webpage, most of its elements are stored in the cache for further retrieval. Clearing browser' cache is not so easy as it sounds. In Firefox it is a long process. Follow these steps to clear cache.
- At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options
- Select the Advanced panel.
- Click on the Network tab.
- In the Cached Web Content section, click Clear Now.
But you can do it with one click with a nice Firefox add-on. It adds a button in your Firefox web browser which enables you to clear the cache of the browser and reload the page quickly.
It removes 4 type of cache (Memory, Disk, Offline, Favicon) and gives an option auto reload of single or all tabs after emptying cache.
Click this button to add Empty Cache Button to your Firefox.
Now customize toolbar.
Add this to your firefox.
After adding the tool bar, you will only have to click on the button to clear the cache.
