How to recover lost form data in Google Chrome



Suppose you have filled a long form in a website and after click on submit, it shows a server error or something else and unable to proceed your request, Or you Internet disconnected. In this case you need to fill the form again. but think if you have just written a long blog post and after the clicking on post, Internet dies and you have not saved the post. That means all your hard work has gone.
This type of disasters can be happened to anyone on the Internet. But There are solutions to each problem. If you are a chrome user, then there is an extension which can help you in case of lost form data. Lazarus is a Form Recovery extension which must be installed in Google chrome. It automatically saves all the keystrokes you are filling in the form, blog tool, comment box, or what you are filling in any website.
To get back the lost data, just look for the little Lazarus symbol in the top-right corner of whatever box you were typing in. Click it, then choose the text you want to recover. 
This add-on is also available for FireFox.

Google Chrome is one of the most used web browser and now number one according to latest reports. Google chrome has lots of useful features which helps in fast browsing on the internet. It offers built in auto fill form feature which is not directly available in other web browsers. In mozilla firefox we have to download and install some extensions for this.

To enable autofill, follow these steps:
1. Open Chrome, click on the small wrench icon in the upper-right corner, and then click on Options.


2. Click Personal Stuff.


3. Click the checkbox to Enable Autofill in web form.


4. Click Manage Autofill settings, and then Add new street address and credit card (In case if you want).
5. When you have done, save and close.


Now each time you will fill a form, most of the items will be automatically poped up there by Google Chrome

How to extract data from a Web Page into an Excel Spreadsheet



Do you know? you can extract the data of a website into a excel spreadsheet. This feature is very useful when you found some useful data on a webpage and you want to save it into your system. You can save Google search results, your bank ministatments and other records with just a mouse clicks.


To import a webpage into excel sheet click on  Data and then go it Get External Data group. In this you will find an option "From Web". Click on this and  then "From Web".


There is another way of doing this in which you do not need to open Microsoft excel each time to import a webpage. 
Open Internet Explorer and then navigate to the website you want to import. Then right click on the page where you will find an option to "Export to Excel"


Once the data is inside Excel, you can do all sort of complex things like conditional formatting, sorting, create charts, etc. If you set the data auto-refresh, Excel will update the worksheet whenever the source web page changes.

How to share blogger post on Google+ easily




Google has now integrated blogger with Google+ and your blogger profile is now replaced with Google+ profile. Google has now added one more feature to make the blogpost sharing easier on Google+. 
Now after publishing the post on blogger, you will see a dialog box with your post. Here choose the circle you’d like to share the post with and then share it. The post will be added to your Google+ account.
But this feature is only available in the new blogger interface. If you are still using the old blogger, the switch to the new blogger interface by clicking the link at top right corner.
In the new blogger interface, go and integrate your Google+ profile with blogger profile.
Then go to the Posts and Comments” page and enable Google+ sharing.
If you do not want this feature and it is already activated in your account then go and disable it in Posts and Comments page.

How to go back to older Yahoo mail




Few months back, Yahoo has launched its new Yahoo mail interface with some new features and performance enhancements. But some of my friends are not happy with this new Yahoo mail. May be they do not want change.  whatever the reason, they want to go back to the older yahoo mail. But there is no direct option to go back to the older Yahoo mail in any way. But there is a simple trick which can allow you to go back to the older yahoo mail.
Actually the newer interface is only designed for the screen resolution better than 1024 x 600. If you will try to access the new interface in lower resolution, you get a notification that the new Yahoo Mail won't work properly.


Follow these steps to go back to the older Yahoo mail



  1. SignOut from the Yahoo mail and close the browser.
  2. Change your desktop resolution to lower than 1024 x 600. 
  3. Now login to your yahoo mail again. You will be notified that the screen resolution is too low.
  4. Now go to the bottom of the page and you will see the link saying "Return to a previous version of Yahoo Mail."  Click on the link.
  5. Then change your screen resolution to the original

How to setup multiple homepage in Internet Explorer



Many latest web browsers have option to setup multiple home pages. This is a nice option because each user want to open all the favorite website at one click. You can also setup this for your internet explorer. All the older version of IE did not support the option but IE 7 or above have option to set multiple home pages for the browser.
You have to specify each page URL for the tabs you want to open as home page.


Follow these steps to setup muliple home pages.

  • First open the Internet Explorer and go to the option Tools then click on Internet Options.
  • Select the General tab, here you will get option "To create home page tabs, type each address on its own line" and type the URL in the Home page section.
  • Type one URL in one line then press Enter to type another URL. Press Ok to finish.
