Password protect your Google Chrome browser | Simple Startup Password

Web browsers are the software which we use to access the web. For our various email and social media accounts, we also use remember password option. So the security of our browser is also necessary. To protect our web browser from unauthorized access, we can also use password protection. But no web browser support password protection.
But in Google Chorme browser, you can add startup password with the help of a nice extension. This extension is called "Simple Startup Password" which allows users to set a pssword which will be prompted each time when a user will try to access the chrome.

Install the extension on your chrome and then go to Settings and then select extension tab. Find Simple Startup Password and click on Options. Then it will ask you for password which you want to add for startup. Type the password and click on save

Now when a person will try to open your chrome browser, browser will ask for the password. In case of wrong password, he will not be able to access the internet in that chrome browser

In you lost your browser password, there is no way to regain the password. So You will have to re-install the browser. So remember your password. 

To change the password, follow the same way and go to settings and then extension tab. Here file the Simple Startup Password extenstion and click on options just below it. Now change the password from here.

Many times you have faced problem of "task manager has been disabled". Task manager is the important tool of windows and has many uses. Most of the times when a program hangs and shows not responding, we all use task manager to end that process. But what to do when task manager has been disabled by a virus? You will not be able to access task manager which is necessary for many tasks.

If you want to enable and disable task manager manually follow these steps.

Steps to enable Task Manager:

1. Go to Start and click on Run. Type gpedit.msc in the in dialog box and press ENTER. Windows 7 users can directly type gpedit.msc in the search box.

2. In the group policy window navigate to User Configuration -->Administrative Templates -->System -->Ctrl+Alt+Del options

3. Then open Remove Task Manager. Here you will see options which are Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled. By default Not configured is selected

4. To enable the task manager select disabled and press ok.

5. To disable the task manager select enabled and press ok.

See the effect of these changes. You will also find many useful options in the group policy window. Try using some other options and customize many things in your windows. Be sure to remember what you are doing.

Hi reader, today i am going to show you a firefox trick to restore your suddenly removed Firefox bookmarks.


1) Go to Run by pressing win+r or start -> Run.


2) Type "%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" in RUN dialog box.


3) Open the "xxxx.default" folder (where xxxx can be random numbers and characters).


4) Now open "bookmarkbackups" folder. and you'll get your bookmarks there.


5) Now you can import them in Firefox again. Press Ctrl+Shift+H >> Click on Import and Backup.


6) Then click on Restore.


7) Then Choose File.


8) Then Select your Bookmarks.json File.


9) Finally  press open now you've done.

This ip is the ip from which you opened you account last time. If your account is also open in another location then there will be a notification indicating this.

Now click on details link. Now you will see a pop window.

Now click on Sign out all other sessions. Now your account will be automatically sign out from all other locations.

If you see any IP addressing accessing your account and location is not the same where you are, it means something is going wrong in your account.
